‘What do those numbers mean anyway?’ – the relationship between the map, the compass and the GPS unit. The continuum of GPS familiarity flows from basic to more complex, from knowledge/content through to application. This is an experiential, “hands-on” opportunity with the GPS unit. Participants will learn how to read coordinates on a map, and their relationship with the GPS unit. This course will take place outside and indoors, please come dressed for the weather.
