The June 21, 2025 storm forced us to close our doors, and this sudden, extended closure has created a significant financial gap. With all on-site programs on hold, we’ve lost the revenue that sustains our operations. We are in survival mode as a spring opening is the next challenge, almost one year, survival remains the priority as we work toward reopening.

THE CANADIAN ECOLOGY CENTRE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

The Canadian Ecology Centre Education Foundation was created to support the CEC’s educational programs, including trip and bus subsidies for school visits, financial assistance for families attending camps, and funding for equipment and new programs. In light of the recent closure, the Foundation is also raising vital support to sustain the Centre until it can fully reopen.
