We are bringing the nationally recognized Greencheck GPS certification program to you! Our qualified National Green Check instructors can lead basic and advanced GPS Certification courses! Topics include: UTM & Lat/Long coordinate systems, compass work and connecting it all to your GPS unit (no equipment required)

Advanced Certification Course (2 Dates to choose from)

• Wednesday September 30th (9am to 4pm)
• Includes GPS Field Guide Resource

GPS Instructor Course 

Must have taken the Advanced Certification Course prior to taking the Instructor Course.  Exceptions may be made for individuals with extensive previous background knowledge and/or teaching. 

• Tuesday September 29th (9am to 3pm)
• Train to be able to certify your own students through the Green Check GPS program.
• Cabin accommodations available on site at a discounted rate (inquire for availability)

Advanced GPS Course: Map, Compass, GPS

“What do those numbers mean anyway?’ This course covers the relationship between maps, compasses, and the GPS unit. The continuum of GPS familiarity flows from basic to more complex, from knowledge/content through to application. This is an experiential, “hands-on” opportunity with the GPS unit.
