A day to Explore, Learn, Connect & Grow

One unforgettable day in nature – designed to inspire curiosity, build confidence and deepen connections with the natural world

ARRIVAL on site: 9:00/10:00am

DEPARTURE from site: 1:00/2:00pm

Suitable GRADES:  3-8

LOCATION:

Hosted at Nature’s Harmony Ecolodge (Mattawan, Ontario)

 

The Collaborative Day trip intended for schools who will be bringing students to participate in BOTH programs offered.  Some classes/students would take part in the Empowerment Trail Program, while other students would take part in the Ecology Discovery Program.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Fill a bus with BOTH Junior and Intermediate Students

  • Intermediate Students (Gr.5-8) Take part in the full day Empowerment Trail Program (program has a max capacity of 45 students)
  • Junior Students (Gr.2-5): Take part in a morning and afternoon CEC led program (max capacity of 60 students)
  • Cost: $1000 + HST minimum charge per school (up to 40 students)
  • Additional Student Charge (above 40): $25 +HST

EMPOWERMENT TRAIL PROGRAM

FULL DAY on the TRAIL

*Led by Nature’s Harmony Staff

Students will take part in an immersive experience that builds confidence, resilience and leadership through callenge, reflection and connection with nature, self and others.

Suitable for Grades 6-8 (Grade 5 students/classes may choose this option as well)

ECOLOGY PROGRAMS

A FULL DAY on the LAND

*Led by Ecology Centre Staff

Hands-on and interactive programs that spark curiosity and build understanding about local ecosystems, wildlife and our role in caring for the planet.

Students will enjoy a full day of programming split between a morning and afternoon session and enjoy a lunch around the campfire

Suitable for Grades 3-5 (Grade 2 classes may also book for this program)

Day Schedule

ARRIVAL at Nature’s Harmony Ecolodge

Schools should plan to arrive no earlier than 9:00am and no later than 10:00am.

 

ECOLOGY DISCOVERY PROGRAMS

Students will take part in a vareity of games, activites and land-based learning explorations.  Opportunities to learn about our local ecosystem, develop curiosity about the natural world and deepen our connections to the land, will be the focus to fun and active day in the forest!

The day will be split between a morning and afternoon session with an opportunity to enjoy your lunch around the campfire.

 

EMPOWERMENT TRAIL PROGRAM

​​​The Guided Empowerment Trail Experience at Nature’s Harmony is a transformational outdoor program designed to inspire growth, connection, and self-discovery.

Created for school groups, this guided journey integrates six core values. (Mindfulness, Gratitude, Perseverance, Community, Sustainability and Intentions) to spark curiosity, creativity, and a sense of endless possibilities in participants of all ages. Whether you’re a class, a community group, or a team looking for a unique bonding experience, the Empowerment Trail offers something truly special.

Led by an experienced guide, this immersive outdoor experience combines exploration, introspection, and interactive activities. Each stop on the trail focuses on one of six interconnected core values
